The primary activities of Space Hellas include: Design and implementation of wired, wireless and satellite communication networks; Design and implementation of IT solutions and data storage systems; Development and provision of IT and physical security solutions; Provision of IP telephony and audio/video conferencing solutions; Development and provision of telematics applications; Implementation of specialised solutions for telecom providers; Infrastructure solutions and services; Provision of consultancy services and state-of-the-art technical support; Provision of training and know-how transfer services.
Within HEIMDALL Space Hellas leads the System Integration activities, and the design and development of the Service Platform and the necessary services to acquire, process and extract information from external data sources. It is also contributing to the HEIMDALL evaluation through participation in the pilot activities and to the dissemination and exploitation activities, being a commercial entity with a strong interest in project results exploitation. Space Hellas participates in the project with its R&D Department, which belongs to the IT, Applications and R&D Division.
